Belgium Pulse could not independently verify the reported incident, its timing or the claimed death through Brussels emergency services, transport operators or a second authoritative Belgian newsroom at the time of this update.

The available headline places the reported explosions close to Brussels-Central, one of the capital’s busiest railway stations, but does not provide enough independently accessible evidence to establish the precise location, sequence of events or operational impact. No verified information was available on other casualties, evacuations, structural damage, road closures or changes to train and public-transport services. The firefighter has therefore not been named here.
